کاسٹیلو سوفوریسکو ، ویسونکٹی اور سفورزا خاندانوں کے ذریعہ منعقد ہوا جنہوں نے بالترتیب 1277 سے 1447 تک اور 1450 سے 1535 تک میلان پر حکمرانی کی تھی ، اسے 1368 میں تعمیر کیا گیا تھا اور 1450 میں دوبارہ تعمیر کیا گیا تھا۔ 70 میٹر ٹورے ڈی فیلریٹ 1905 کے اصلی دروازے کی دوبارہ تخلیق ہے۔ 




کاسٹیلو میں میوزئی ڈیل کاسٹیلو سوفورسکو ، عجائب گھروں کی ایک سیریز ہے ، جس میں سے ایک مجسمہ نمایاں ہے۔ اس ذخیرے میں پیئٹی رونڈینی ، مائیکلینجیلو کا آخری شاہکار ، جو 1953 میں روم کے پلازو رونڈینی سے یہاں لایا گیا ہے ، شامل ہے۔
